Families Should Meet the Following Requirements in Order to Qualify for Habitat for Humanity:
- Have lived in Warren County, TN for at least one full year
- Satisfactory rental history
- Reasonable credit history
- Steady income for 1 year
- Need for housing due to sub-standard, unsafe, overcrowded conditions, or paying 1/3 or more of gross income on housing
- Willing to work 500 “sweat equity” hours
- Yearly gross income between 25-50% of Warren County median income
The Following Items May be Needed for Verification Purposes:
- Proof of residence in Warren County, TN (Minimum of 1 year)
- Completed Application
- Drivers Licence or Photo ID
- $10 cash for Credit Report
- Social Security cards & birth certificates for everyone in household
- Copy of lease or rent receipt
- Proof of ALL income sources (pay stubs, social security, etc.)
- Copy of divorce decree, marital dissolution, child support (if applicable)
- List of bank accounts, credit cards, medical & dental bills, utility bills, savings plans, pension plans, court costs, child support, alimony, finance company, auto payments, insurance information (with account numbers on all)
